The picture below is the very first drawing of the Dancing Chickens. I was a first-grader in a total-immersion Spanish class at Davis Bilingual School in Tucson, Arizona, so the words are in Spanish. The assignment was to choose an animal, then draw it and describe it in a sentence.

Some of the grammar is incorrect, and there is one spelling error. The word chitos is supposed to be chicos which means small. My grammar errors are that the adjectives, amarillo and bonito should be pluralized, because I am talking about many chickens. Translated to English, the sentence means:

The little chickens are yellow and pretty and small.

Recently I learned how to use Flash, which is a computer program where you make two-dimensional animation. I used it to make Dancing Chickens that actually dance.
